One of the core features that CarbookPlus offers is its electronic logbook - a record of all your trips, easy to maintain and automatic too! We explain the logbook functionality in detail in this article.
The user can access his logbook from the Dashboard as shown here:
The trips can be viewed on a day to day basis as shown, for easier readability. One can choose to view trips for any particular date, easily by clicking the calendar icon:The trips can be viewed on a day to day basis as shown, for easier readability. Swipe up to view all the trips. All the trip parameters can be edited by clicking on the trip: the distance covered, the start and end location, marking these locations as favorites, the start and end date or time, whether private or personal, the driver, the vehicle.
Clicking the bin icon deletes the trip.
Trips can be manually added by clicking on the “+” icon (screen 1). Once the trip is added it appears in the logbook. More trips can be added too again, using the “+” icon on the 3rd screen.
Logbook Summary: click on the right hand top corner menu – as shown to access the Logbook summary. This shows the overview of all the trips for the year, in terms of distance travelled in a month or the number of trips made and time taken. Filter options to view all personal/ business trips, or distances covered. One also has the option to see the logbook of any of the previous years too.
Logbook print: works just like what we had before. The screenshots here depicting the same. Click on the tick mark sends the Logbook as a Pdf file to the specified email.
Refresh option: Our App is designed to receive notifications automatically whenever there are server updates. So, all the trips will be refresh automatically. However, if any latest data is not yet visible on the screen, one can click on the refresh option.
Merging trips: In the scenario where two tracked trips exist and any one or both the conditions are true, then the merge icon is shown, so the user can merge the trips. 1. When the distance between the end location of the first trip and the start location of the next trip is less than 200m. 2. And/or the time duration between the trips is less than 45s.
Gaps in tracked trips:
Gaps are recognized and the user has the option to manually fill these by adding the missing trips, if at all.
